Disaster ministry leaders from around the conference will meet in July to review, evaluate and revise our current training strategies. The goal is to ensure that our churches and volunteers have access and opportunity for effective training that appropriately prepares them for disaster response and recovery.

FLUMC: Children's Home Hosted Run 4 Life of Florida
In May, the Children's Home hosted Run 4 Life of Florida, a four-mile run that supports suicide prevention. It started and ended on our Enterprise campus and went along the shore of Lake Monroe. In total, there were 264 registered runners for the race. Our thanks to Run 4 Life and all of the many sponsors that made the event possible.
